Restricting Duplicates

Restricting duplicates is a powerful feature that will allow you to further shape your Winamp plug-in playlists by controlling how often you encounter the same artist.

By checking the box for “Restrict duplicate artists in mix,” restriction is enabled and you may specify the minimum length of time, number of tracks, or size in Megabytes before duplicate artists will appear within the playlist. For example, the preference setting below demonstrates that if the seed artist chosen was The Beatles, three tracks that were not by the The Beatles would be including within the playlist between “Let It Be” and “Come Together.”
